About the Department

The First Hose Company of Boonsboro operates out of 2 stations that protect a primarily rural area. Currently at Station 6 we house Engine 6-1, Tanker 6, Truck6, Brush 6 and a support unit. Currently at Station 8 we house Engine 8-1, Engine Tanker 8, Brush 8, Utility 8, an EMS gator, a fire support gator, a fire support UTV, and a support unit. Station 8 also houses Wildland 8, Wildland 8 is a trailer that houses the fire support gator along with tools and equipment for Wildland responses.

The First Hose Company of Boonsboro offers a wide variety of responses throughout not only our first due area but a vast mutual aide due area. Both station 6 and 8 offer the ability to have live in members and we are about 20 minutes from Hood College, Shepherd University and Hagerstown Community College.
