Our Mission: The Westminster Fire Engine and Hose Co. 1, is dedicated to providing quality Emergency Services to our community through the combined team efforts of our members, the local government organizations, and the citizens of our community to enhance our ability to protect life, property, and the environment.

Westminster Fire Engine and Hose Co. 1 is a growing department located in the county seat. Our call volume is high and we offer many opportunities to train, allowing you to grow your skills to be the best emergency responder you can be.

We house a large fleet, including 2 engines, a tower, brush truck, ATV, ambulances, and multiple support pieces. Inside our living quarters, members have access to bunkrooms, locker rooms with showers, a full kitchen, TV room, training room, fitness room, and study areas. With opportunities to join leadership in both operational and administrative positions, our department is the perfect place to grow as a volunteer in Carroll County.
