The Rock Hall Volunteer Fire Company is an all-volunteer organization whose members provide EMS, FIRE & RESCUE services to the Town of Rock Hall and mutual aid assistance to surrounding communities. The Rock Hall Volunteer Fire Company was first organized on April 27, 1927. Before the organization of the company in its present day form, all fires were fought by bucket brigades that were summoned by the ringing of the church bell. Presently today, the volunteers remain active, loyal, and forever dedicated to fighting fires, rescue, community service, and fund raising. Many of the current members are descendants of the original members. Our mission is to promptly and professionally deliver quality emergency life safety services to the Town of Rock Hall and surrounding communities with the highest level of integrity, commitment, teamwork, and community engagement through pride, dedication, and excellence.
