The Sudlersville Volunteer Fire Company was organized on March 14th of 1927 and almost 100 years later we are still 100% owned operated and staffed by volunteers to provide the highest quality service to the people protecting Life, Property, and the Environment in the community as well as our surrounding communities. The SVFC operates 1 BLS Ambulance, 2 class A Engines, 1 75-foot aerial ladder, 1 Heavy Rescue, 1 Tanker, 1 Brush Truck, and multiple support units and the SVFC covers a first due area of 65 square mile not including mutual aid.

Brush/wild land as well tanker/water shuttle operations and we also house a county paid ALS unit.

Free training through Maryland Fire & Rescue Institute as well as the opportunity to train with the Delaware State Fire School and other outside training vendors.
We also hold a number of events for the members such as dinners, picnics, and a company day trip to either Six Flags or a Baltimore Orioles game.
