About the Department

We are a small town company with about 40 volunteers and six paid personnel we have the following equipment rescue/engine engine /tanker , tanker , brush truck, two boats , two ambulances, a ems vehicle, a command vehicle, and a utility truck. We respond to between 150 and 200 fire calls a year and somewhere around 300 ambulance calls

Why Mardela Springs Volunteer Fire Company?

We need to find some younger members most of our active members are older. In our county the school system offers fire classes at the vo tech center where you can be trained to join right away.
