About the Department

The Damascus Volunteer Fire Department is part of the Montgomery County Department of Fire Rescue Services.

The Department is staffed by a combination of career and volunteer personnel and is responsible for protecting the citizens of Damascus as well as towns and cities nearby in Montgomery, Carroll, Howard and Frederick Counties.
