The Bel Alton Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. provides fire and ems services through a unique network of members. Our Department’s volunteers are comprised of your neighbors, your friends and maybe even your relatives. They’re people just like you – with families, jobs and active lifestyles who still find time to give back to their community for the greater good and for your protection.

The BAVFD was established in 1962 and has remained a provider of emergency services in Charles County, as well as surrounding jurisdictions ever since – protecting residents and businesses, and those traveling through.
