About the Department

The Accokeek Volunteer Fire Department was organized in 1932. To date the department still holds true to the values in which Mr. G.E. Wilson instilled in the membership back in 1932. The department is very family based and familys are always welcome. The department runs mutual aid with neighboring Charles County. Currently the department is averaging 9 calls a day and is on track to run 2500 calls for the year.
